Our logo was designed by Debra Grayson, a local graphic artist. The original Rankin Greys was an infantry unit. This camp was founded by Mechanized Cavalry members. To honor both of those facts, we combined the symbol for infantry and cavalry into what you see here, the crossed musket and sabre. We are very proud of our history and our ancestors, but we like to keep an eye on the current and future times and keep our organization moving in a positive direction without ever forgetting where we came from. We founded this camp to "answer the call" and further the Cause of our ancestors as laid out in the charge of General Stephen D. Lee.
