This was a benefit ride to help cover cost for electric wheelchair and ongoing medical expenses for Bobby Joe Denton. Bobby has since crossed the river to be with his Lord and we remember him fondly. We honor his memory every year by sponsoring the Bobby Joe Denton Ride for RAD (Radically Against Dystrophy). RAD is a summer camp for kids with Muscular Dystrophy. The ride started at Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church at 6880 S Siwell Rd, Byram, Mississippi 39272. We left the church at 10:00 heading to Rocky Springs, about 25 miles south of Raymond on the scenic Natchez Trace. A short break was taken there then we returned to the Church for a pulled pork lunch.
